Sanjay Dutt Reveals The Real Reason Twins Shahraan And Iqra Like To Watch His Biopic ‘Sanju’
Sanjay Dutt and his family have stood the test of time after the actor was diagnosed with cancer last year. Amid the heartwrenching storm that the Dutt family endured, Maanayata and their kids have stood by Sanjay like a steady rock. Recently, the family was seen gracing the cover of an international leading magazine and they look fabulous together.

However, it was Sunil Dutt and Nargis who were missed in this family picture. Unfortunately, Sanjay’s youngest kids Shahraan and Iqra have never met either their grandfather Sunil Dutt or grandmother Nargis.

For the unversed, Sunil Dutt died in 2005 and Nargis Dutt, in 1981, while Shahraan and Iqra were born in 2010.

Interestingly, the twins have discovered a way to get familiar with their grandparents. In a recent interview, Sanjay Dutt revealed that his kids like to watch his biopic, Sanju, because it features the characters of his parents as well.

Speaking to Filmfare Middle East, Sanjay said, “Their all-time favourite is the film Sanju! Unfortunately, they haven't met their grandparents. Seeing that film, they felt close and connected to them, especially because Shahraan has so many questions to ask about his grandparents.”

Sanju was one of the most loved films of 2018, and was a hit at the Box Office. Ranbir Kapoor was seen playing the character of Sanjay Dutt, and Dia Mirza played his wife, Maanayata Dutt. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial saw Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala playing Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, respectively.

On the work front, Sanjay has an interesting line up of films. The actor will be seen in KGF 2, in which he plays the Viking inspired role of Adheera. He also has 'Toolsidas Junior', 'Shamshera' in the pipeline.
